Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Abbotsford to Sicamous

  • 9:45 AM: Students arrive at a central location in Abbotsford and check in with the DCSA guide .
  • The fun begins! Meet your fellow travelers with games and introductions led by your friendly tour guide.
  • Learn fun facts about Vancouver as you head into the mountains!
  • Enjoy scenic views of the Coquihalla Highway, the Okanagan Valley, and Canada’s only desert area.
  • Stop in Hope – the Carving Capital of Canada!
  • Lunch stop in Kamloops (at your own expense).
  • Arrive at SilverStar for an afternoon of snow tubing on the mountain.
  • End the day roasting s’mores and having fun!
  • Check into your hotel in Sicamous.
  • 10:00 PM: Room Checks.

Day 2: Sicamous to Banff

  • Breakfast included at the hotel.
  • Drive through Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks.
  • Visit Roger's Pass National Historic Site.
  • Explore the iconic Lake Louise!
  • Continue to the beautiful mountain town of Banff.
  • Check into your hotel in the early evening.
  • Optional: Banff Gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain (additional cost).
  • Evening free time – enjoy the hotel, shop, or have dinner on Banff Avenue.
  • 10:00 PM: Room Checks.

Day 3: Banff & Lake Louise to Golden

  • Breakfast included at the hotel.
  • Morning driving tour of Banff.
  • Choose an optional winter activity:
    • Skiing at Lake Louise Ski Resort
    • Johnston Canyon Ice Walk
  • If not doing an activity, enjoy an extended Banff tour and more time to shop.
  • Dinner stop en route in Golden (at your own expense).
  • Check into your hotel and enjoy the pool!
  • 10:00 PM: Room Checks.

Day 4: Golden to Abbotsford

  • Breakfast included at the hotel.
  • Start your return journey to the Lower Mainland.
  • Coffee break in Revelstoke.
  • Stop at Craigellachie – the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway.
  • Lunch stop in Kamloops or Merritt (at your own expense).
  • Washroom stop in Hope.
  • Return to Abbotsford at approximately 6:30 PM.

Recommendation: Bring approximately $20 for lunches and $25 for dinners that are not included.
