2-Day Victoria Sightseeing Tour

Join us for a fun and educational 2-day adventure to beautiful Victoria, BC! Travel by ferry through the scenic Gulf Islands, explore historic landmarks, stroll the Inner Harbour, and experience the stunning Malahat Skywalk. This tour blends cultural highlights with breathtaking nature for an unforgettable spring escape. Students will enjoy guided city tours, free time to shop and explore, and comfortable accommodation in Victoria. Optional activities like whale watching, the Royal BC Museum, or tasting local cuisine on the “Eat Like a Canadian” tour add even more excitement to this coastal getaway.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Abbotsford to Victoria

• 9:00 am: Students arrive at a central location in Abbotsford (address TBD)and check in with the DCSA guide (8:45 am check-in).
• 11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Ferry through the Gulf Islands. Lunch available for purchase onboard (packed lunch recommended).
• Enjoy a scenic coastal drive tour through James Bay and Oak Bay.
• Drive along Beach Drive to Beacon Hill Park and stop at Mile 0 for pictures.
• Victoria city tour highlights:
  • Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Bellville Street
  • Government Street
  • Empress Hotel
  • Chinatown
  • Wharf Street
• Check in to your downtown hotel and enjoy free time to use the hotel’s facilities.
• Meet your guide in the lobby and depart for dinner (own expense).

Day 2: Victoria to Abbotsford

• 8:00 am: Breakfast included at the hotel.
• Free time to explore the Inner Harbour and shop on Government Street.
• Optional: Visit Royal BC Museum or join a whale watching tour (10:00 am – 1:00 pm, additional cost).
• 1:30 pm: Depart for Goldstream Park for a short hike in old-growth forests featuring waterfalls and 600+ year-old trees.
• Continue to Malahat Skywalk (admission included).
• Enjoy a TreeWalk through the forest, leading to a gentle spiral ramp rising 32m to a lookout with panoramic views of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Peninsula, Mount Baker, and the Coast Mountains.
• 5:55 pm: Take the ferry back to Horseshoe Bay.
• ~8:00 pm: Return to Abbotsford.
